In January 2016, Abergeldie was awarded a contract with Sydney Water to rehabilitate the roof on a water supply reservoir in Bonnyrigg.
Bonnyrigg Reservoir WS0183 was constructed in 1975. The circular reservoir has a diameter of 54.9m, an effective depth of 8.3m and has a storage capacity of approximately 19.5ML.
The scope of works includes demolition of the existing metal clad roof and structural steel support frame and access, refurbishment of existing ancillary equipment, installation of new steel support framework and sheeting, hand railing and access.
Works commenced in March pf this year and are anticipated to be complete by October 2016.
